“Lock its brakes so hard”??? Really, did you even watch the video before writing this? There is no lockup (which is to be expected on an ABS-equipped vehicle), and if there was, it would be *less* likely that the back tires would come off the ground, as we all know (or should know, Jalopnik allegedly being a car

Too much front brake bias would lock front wheels first, not lift the rear tires off the ground. Any racer can tell you that. This is a weight distribution problem only.

I didn’t know that FCA was implementing 2-step verification for gear selection.

One is for Ramming, one is for Dodging.

Rolex on the bus? No thanks. I like not getting mugged.

Now, the owner of the dashcam is also at fault for not letting the guy in.

A less successful effort.

Ha, wanna know what she had? A Geo Storm GSi. Teal. Clearcoat peeling off. Cracked rear bumper cover. Rattle can paint to cover up what I assume was filler. Cracked taillamp covered with packing tape. Upper portion of the rear hatch seal dislodged from the channel and dry rotting. Rusting rear fenders and the

Seriously. I mean, one could call something dependable if it always turned on and never left you stranded, despite the huge list of issues. But, a 6 year old car falling apart...that is exactly why people still have issue with Kia and Hyundai even today.

Life is getting more absurd by the minute my friend.

Seriously, fuck short beds. If your box is shorter than the passenger compartment, you’re doing trucks wrong.

Who’s buying them? People who don’t know how money works AND are more interested in impressing others.

There’s an apartment complex about a mile from my house - FIVE Raptors in the parking lot. They’re there every day when I leave at o’dark thirty in the morning. I chuckle nearly every day because they have to have

Businesses, somewhat well of men that believe they need a truck to haul home the occasional bag of mulch because it may dirty the back of the wife’s SUV, women that inexplicably use them as their dd in cities, people that can afford them and want them.

Who the fuck is buying 70k trucks?! I would love to see the average loan term on one of these....has to be close to 7 years, with a massive percentage of buyers defaulting. I can’t even look at the price of an F150 without gagging. Yeah, I’m told they’ve got great profit margins, but it seems like these guys are going

Couldn’t agree more, the static timing 12 valve engine need sa decent load and high RPM to spool a turbo, it’s useless in a light vehicle. That’s not even taking into account the fact that it has a stick, which is the worst possible choice for an engine that struggles with turbo lag. A modern common rail would be much

I stopped the video at “roll coal.” I’m done.

That was pretty damn good. My wife is a farmer’s daughter. She spent the first 18 years of her life farming, driving tractors, and driving trucks. It drivers her bat-shit crazy when she gets demeaned by mechanics and men who don’t think she can handle large vehicles or back a trailer or anything like that. I just

I bet we all miss using hand crank to start cars and manually adjusting the spark.

Hold on to your butts.
