NP all the way.... Lol, it’s a project, the hardest part is done already, wait, not really, still needs wiring! But I had exactly same idea when I was 16, just never had an opportunity to do it... So still NP

It’s a modern Dodge, sorry, RAM. Rust issues will prevent it from being a future classic...

Chrysler 2.7 V6 is the best - water pump runs of a timing chain on that DOHC sludge monster. Even better is the fact that a bad water pump has 50% chance of dumping coolant in your oilpan (:

    Anyone interested?

Depends on a generator used as a range extender, most have optimal range that's way below 10k rpm, more like 2500 or so rpm, so that would need some kind of reduction gearbox, which adds to the torque demand, so does peak load on the generator (drawing current from its windings creates magnetic resistance acting on

The reason those were a nightmare is that Ford pushed them beyond specs, the VT365 (sold as 6.0 Powerstroke) was rated at 215-250hp by Navistar. Ford pushed it to 315hp in order to show a hp increase over outgoing 7.3 Powerstroke (T444E Navistar) which was rated at 210-250hp by Navistar already

What the flying f...? Honda Insight meets the Lemon?

Morons, they never try the handles first.

Too bad they're a separate brand now, cause this really looks you know, dodgy...

Anything convertible over 1k - instant CP!

So many buttons to press, which one is a self destruct feature?

Haha, I had a cargo van like that once, the gas pedal was just a “volume control” used to adjust engine noise, not speed...

    - cheap to buy and keep, so you won’t end up broke.

Ever heard of the Diesel rotary? Probably the only Diesel that's got no torque, not much horsepower, and a fuel economy of a cruise ship... No wonder they never went past the prototype stage.
