As a local news producer, this is a totally bodge job on that person's end. The producer has to always be in the reporter's ear via IFB..telling them to stand by...etc. Totally unacceptable. Not completely the reporter's fault here, although he should have been checking in...

Useful in the sense that mine went off and it turned out I had a nail in one of my tires. Local shop found it after my poking & prodding turned up nothing. Thankfully, they were able to break down the tire, take it out & put it back on for $35.
