There was Burnout 3 and 4 which i played to death on the PS2, also Need for Speed Burning Asphalt 2 and later NFS Underground. In the nineties i had lots of fun with Theme Park, Road Rash, Wing Commander and Populous

We either have very different opinions about game quality or you simply did not play a lot of the pre 2007/2006 EA games.

EA was known for Wing Commander before..for Road Rash..BurnOut, their Basketball, Football and Boxing games, for the Strike series and a ton more.

Thats the thing..it is not Pointless and its totally fitting into the story and setting of the God of War games. Beside that..your reply that Pokemon and Mario are superiour games speaks for itself.
