Korea has risen to one of the top players in the world due to their tech industry, k-pop culture and gangnam style. It now rivals Japan, in Asia and is now part of the Asia’s elites. Millenials also love their K-drama. I find it odd that plenty of non-asians that i’ve met watch korean drama.
