Their ability to cast Harry Potter spells will have no effect on this.

It’s nice that they’re finally getting around to remaking the one game people have asked the most for.

$60 is not an “excellent” price. It’s the full price.

Excellent? Steam has GTAV for a full $15 more than GMG does.

Supremely terrible response KillerBee. I don’t think there is any need to go on due to the other replies showing you whats what except one tid bit. Dark Souls 2 would have never sold anywhere near as well as it has on PC if not for that particular mod. I don’t even play the game and I know this.

Other than conferring some basic protections on the publisher, EULAs are effectively unenforceable and not legally binding. US courts have ruled on this repeatedly.

This is why I make sure to read every single word of every single EULA before I install any game.

Problem is there’s a crippling bug in the PC version of the game that FROM has let sit for over a year (presumably because hardly anyone in Japan bought it on PC). This “mod” fixes that.

You read eulas? wait don’t bother lying to me I already know the answer

There will always be simpletons like you see everything black and white.

No, but thanks for trying.

And that’s how a dev studio napalms their entire fanbase. Instead of listening and being responsive to their customers’ legitimate grievances, they’ve just decided to soft ban them instead.

Yeah, to fix bugs that would make the game otherwise unplayable:

LOL a mod that is fucking required to play the game. Literally. The mod is a necessity to play the game, has been since 2 days after DS2 launched.
(the modder literally fixed the game 2 days after launch)

No, a bunch of people are wondering why they’re being banned after all this time. Feels like selective enforcement.

Until you sign a EULA before buying a game, they’re bullshit. Can’t wait for the day that devs/pubs get sued in court over them because EULAs are utter bullshit as they stand right now.

Good point. Reading the EULA would have certainly prevented this. Also thanks. I didn’t realize my eyes could roll a full 360.

That’s right, everyone. You should be grateful for your broken games and do nothing to fix the issue, otherwise you’ll be punished for doing what they should have done in the first place.

I think you're applying a lot of meaning the developers didn't by the end of your post. Reminds me of people who over analyze song lyrics.
