That’s not how privilege works. You don’t get to decide what privilege you are afforded by the circumstances of your birth. Society decides for you.

Forensic anthropology actually still use the three main races to tell a deceased persons ancestry. Taken from wikipedia:

Italians don’t call themselves white where I live, in fact they often go out of their way to remind people they aren’t white.
