Really? Destiny kinda spoiled me for other games. I tried The Division during the beta and the movement and gunplay were just sorta stodgy and... not fun. I don’t imagine that aspect could be much improved with the real game? Even comparing it to other third person shooters- even other Tom Clancy third person

You mention twice that Destiny took up large amounts of your time, but then you say you’re a casual?

5 minutes is worst-case. I typically find a raid group in under 2 minutes, and I know that they aren’t going to be random noobs. To me, that’s worth the trade-off.

You’re only doing legwork on end-game content in Destiny, and matchmaking 6 randoms to attempt the most challenging parts of the game is going to present it’s own set of headaches.

They can certainly make a lot of improvements. I’ll likely still use lfg sites though, because you can be a lot more particular about who you play with (i.e., 310+, need a titan, doing golgoroth checkpoint, mic required, etc.). I’m sure they could accommodate something like that in-game, but I doubt they will.

Finding people is incredibly easy. I understand complaining about not having matchmaking in-game, but it takes less than 5 minutes to find a raid group online.

I’m just the opposite - I’ve enjoyed the hell out of playing things like The Division, but I jumped in with a buddy to help finish up King’s Fall when they were a man down, and the smoothness and freedom of movement in Destiny is just so.. perfect. Absolutely perfect.

Wohohoho... this game needs Miiverse integration!
*nudges everyone in the planet*

Come on, you bastards, agree!

Hopefully, this gets addressed beforeMiitomo rolls out to more countries across the globe. Lasts long enough for some ridiculously hilarious videos to be made.

Left 4 Dead 2

There are no credentials that can show that someone isn’t a threat.

Uh, he has not be detained. Far from it. Not even close.

Don’t word it like there is a direct correlation between those two things when there is not.

Lmfao. Are you actually trying to compare Division challenges to Destiny raids? Three toddlers on a play date could beat a Division challenge mode. The Division has exactly one mechanic, and it’s “shoot that guy". I know regular Destiny players who still struggle with some of the Kings Fall challenge modes, with

Ya totally..like having a good story, and great game play mechanics, and memorable characters....oh wait, the Division has none of that lol. I just saw in another post of yours that you have never played Destiny. That is such a Destiny comment and has been the norm. “DESTINY IS LITERALLY THE DUMBEST/WORST GAME EVER!!!

Torgue’s swordsplosion shotgun (Tiny Tina DLC) : it fires 3 swords every time.

Also, Raiding with randos in Destiny does suck all the balls. It’s a terrible experience that I would not recommend. Maybe Division’s incursions will be better suited to matchmaking, but I don’t think this is as much a game design decision as it is a social one. LFG makes sense, but randoms? No. If anyone on the

it was one of the comments of TotalBiscuit in his beta’s review. A looter game does need to have sexy weapons for you to come back every day. That’s what Borderlands 2 / Diablo 3 (and to some extent Destiny) are doing :

I am an admitted Destiny fan, and unfortunately, I already traded the Division in. There was just too much wrong with it, little things that just annoyed me too much. And I found myself comparing it to Destiny and feeling like it wasn’t even much of a comparison. I dunno, to each their own. I know some people are

Went into the grey comments. Apperantly the furry hate train came here from Gizmodo. Why does everyone gotta hate on the furries? It was old in the early aughts, it’s just beating a fossilized horse at this point. We get it, people can’t be bothered to actually educate themselves because this is the internet and
