Well, he really felt for Paul. "Who doesn't love Paul?". Because he IS Paul: he's a simple man, a simple good man. Paul is his future, and maybe he doesn't like it.

The first episode is just so bad I want my spent time back.

I'm not sure I like what's underlying in this review. And in most of the comments.

But that's what the whole episode is about: a wrapped up situation *seemingly* in mint condition, but it's just a matter of seconds and it gets ruined.

So now we should be aware that Joe Mande is a stand-up comedian and laugh a lot about this take on a song which has been hugely popular and important for a *big amount* of gay and not-gay people.

Well, mine was a really axe-cut opinion based on the comic history of Mantis, the Celestial Madonna, DC Comic's Willow, Eclipse's Lorelei and all the messy multiple incarnations.

… and I don't think even Marvel can use Mantis.

The problem is not the "Tracy dead, Robin loved" ending. The problem is *how* this ending has been told.

Well, it's a mockumentary. In-story, they could have recorded it *before* the trip, and Claire was explaining her trick to get loose of Phil.

Before choosing Matt Smith, Moffat considered Tovey a BIG possibility as a cast for the main role of the Doctor ;)
