Why did they waste time on episodes 2-5 (which I didn't care for much) instead of developing the first and last episodes into 4 hours or so? It felt like this was the 2 hour movie Carter wanted to make with some filler episodes in between. Episodes 1 & 6 were so much better than the other 4 episodes.

Guess this means that there won't be a sequel? I enjoyed this movie, especially the Director's Cut (or extended cut…whatever they called it). I was hoping they could pick up from where the first one ended up. Oh well.

If we get season 3 I would love to see them pick up where they left off with all that went on with Little Boy and the decision to drop the second bomb they just have had somewhere. And what ends up happening to the team, especially Frank and his reactions to the devastation of the two bombs.

I maybe alone, but I miss the colonial era tie-ins and flashbacks that were much more prevelant earlier in the show.

Just once before Homeland ends, I would love to see Carrie and Jack Bauer pass each other in the hallway of some CIA type of government building. All they have to do is nod at one another as they pass. That would be my geek TV moment for the decade.

This whole season feels more like 24 without Jack and all the action than Homeland of seasons past. The subplot with professor Boyd feels especially 24ish. I'm really hating that subplot now. I really enjoy this show. I think it's a quality production and much better than The Strain, so far, and The Muskeeters But the ratings appear pretty dismal. Any chance AMC gives this show another shot next year? I hope so.

Can someone, very briefly, refresh my recollection on what Jack did to piss off the Russians? Did it have to do with the Charles Logan mess during his presidency or after it, or something else entirely? Also, I will go back to Amazon Prime and watch that season again to remember.
