Gasol went from shooting .2 3's a game to shoot 3.4 and hitting them at 38%. He’s also a better passer by a wide margin. Stopped playing with his longtime starter in Zach Randolph. Lost his star PG to injury (Jrue Holiday is not a star). Their major free-agent pickup has been injured most of the year. He’s 8 years

I may, and rightly could be, roasted for this, but I think Marc Gasol deserves the start over Anthony Davis.

Questionable facial hair, you say?

This dog seems like more of a specimen than a keen analytical mind. Should try to develop his natural ability.

I fucking LOVED NBA Street vol. 2. It’s the only disc I’ve ever worn out. Dinner hasn’t been served since.

What does one sell at a concession stand during a race horse auction? Caviar? The deeds to foreclosed homes? Boiled goose? Perhaps the secret to beating that hoverbike scene in Battletoads?

Seems like wave after wave of Chinese needle snakes would be more efficient.

... I would like to hear Bitchin’ Camaro again...

I’ve watched half a dozen 76er’s games this year and read the box score on 90% of the others. Being ranked in the bottom 25% of major offensive and defensive statistics hints of a trash team.

Absolutely. I’d rather be the 76er’s than the Clippers, Blazers, Mavs, Heat, Magic... a whole lot of teams. They’re not in the bone zone, they just need to play their cards ride.

The Wire.... also Dunkin’ Donuts’... and Robert Parrish

I understand and partially agree with the Millsap comparison. I think Simmons will be more a a facilitator than him, but we’ll see. And your trades are absolutely what I hope happens for Philly. They don’t need another Iverson. They need another Iguodala.

The battery thing was a general swipe at Philly fans. I’ll eat it. It doesn’t fit. But if Embiid and Simmons don’t see some measure of success before their rookie deals expire, are they going to stay in a city whose last superstar was Andre Iguodala? The league is aging, and not everyone gets a ring, but everyone

Most of the players on a championship-caliber team need to be able to hit a 3. They also must defend at a league average. The Eastern Conference will be more open when LeBron declines physically. There are no current up-and-comers. No one wants to play in Philadelphia. Are you... are you good? should I explain further?

I see what you mean. I do think Simmons can play point-forward, but not all the time. I’m assuming the 76'ers will have a competent coach, and that’s no guarantee. I think with a few guards who can shoot and at least pass the ball they could outlive the LeBron Era. But guard play is hard to come by. Chris Paul isn’t

Indulge me. Philly doesn’t have a guard they could count on to slow down Curry, Harden, or even Tony fucking Parker. Embiid’s not going to stretch the floor with Draymond, Durant, LeBron, or even Al Horford tracking him. Saric is shooting 36% in what is essentially constant garbage time.

Let’s say the 76ers build around him and Simmons. They still need a couple 3-and-D guards and a stretch 4 before they can compete. There’s no way to know who’ll be a contender 3 years down the road, but without striking gold in the draft or somehow convincing players to endure battery-filled snowballs and play in

*bursts into room, gasping for breath* Students... students of the game! *collapses* Stick-to-it-iveness... *dying breath* They play the... right way...
