Most of the players on a championship-caliber team need to be able to hit a 3. They also must defend at a league average. The Eastern Conference will be more open when LeBron declines physically. Indulge me. Philly doesn’t have a guard they could count on to slow down Curry, Harden, or even Tony fucking Parker. Embiid’s not going to stretch the floor with Draymond, Durant, LeBron, or even Al Horford tracking him. Saric is shooting 36% in what is essentially constant garbage time.
