SL styling hit its ("modern")peak with the R129.

My experience with Maserati's.

It never made it to production because the funding was used for the Explorer, but the Ford GN34 program was going to be a new Ferrari destroyer! It was loosely based on the Pantera with what became the Taurus SHO's Yamaha V6, but was bored out to 3.4L to make 280hp and it was attached to an AWD drivetrain!
These serve a valiant purpose my friend. They are a cheap source of Cosworth V6's!
That green one? Van and pick-up truck? Do want, what is it?
The fact that Ford Argentina continued to produce and sell the Gen I Falcon into the 80s makes it kind of weird. Especially to look at.
Ferrari 166, is that you? Wow, I think I read about this a long time ago. Very cool.
Ford's Brazilian division has come up with some very weird trucks.
I wouldn't say a Mk1 Capri with a Boss 302 is oddball...it's awesome.
Want. Capri. Now.
Not weird. The most awesome car Ford ever built.
Regarding "silly verses serious," why can't a truck review be both? You can get specifications anywhere, we're here to entertain you as well as inform you. I love trucks and I love country music, that doesn't mean we can't have fun with them and respect them at the same time.
