If I were wealthy, I'd pay someone to fly to to swing districts in 2020 and just plaster these all over the place.

I mean, I know they do, but that doesn't mean they should. GWB and Clinton were both governors, and Obama had been working senatorial politics since 1997. Even showing a willingness/interest in government is better than just deciding one day you're wealthy enough that you'll try this president thing, as trump did.

Maybe let's not keep entertaining the notion of amateurs filling the highest office of a political system they've never been entrenched in before, it's not working out so well so far?

Why is the timing so off? They must be throwing up those censor bars live or at least live-to-tape, which is kind of mind-boggling.

This is an interesting phenomenon to suddenly realize I've experienced. I think it might've happened to me with Arcade Fire's "Reflektor," which I actually bought on CD (at a Starbucks no less!) sound unheard because I figured of course I would love it. But…it just sits there like a big sonic nothing, a

Not really getting a Lynch vibe from this…Just slapping a synth on it and having someone talk backwards is a little bush league

I much prefer Big Chili's actually. Who'da thunk a chain could survive on the novelty of replicating another chain but making everything 20% larger, down to the napkins and booth seats?

Agreed.

Trump isn't bringing light to America's dark history of supporting anti-democratic regimes in order to champion reform. He's saying it's no big deal if you murder journalists. Fail to see the difference and you play right into his hand.

I complete understand — but safe to say Trump wasn't calling out our injustices in order to right them, he was saying that was "the cost of doing business."

You're not wrrrrrroooooonnnng, but (and I hate to use this overused word) it's troubling to me that Trump is trying to normalize the murder of journalists and political opponents. America under Obama may have done bad things—launched drone strikes with high collateral casualties, been too comfortable with building a

My heart skipped a beat. Disaster averted!

Only now do I realize how much I want a standalone Star Wars movie featuring Temura Morrison as Captain Rex and the other rogue post-Order 66 clones who show up in Rebels.

You, some friends, a 24-pack, and "Food Fight" is a night well spent.

They should do an ep of South Park about a couple of cartoonishly overdone TV showrunners who make money being edgy without actually clarifying anything with their hot takes.

It's a little annoying how long these guys have gotten away with "political commentary" while never actually staking a position besides "Everyone sucks equally so there's no point in an earnest debate." I can't help but think the 20-something disaffected, alt-right-but-I-do-it-for-the-lulz meme brigade that so fell in

If merely acknowledging the contribution of immigrants from 100+ years ago is enough to set you off, you might have to take a hard, long look in the mirror about your political beliefs.

Voat must begin implementing extreme vetting! It won't be an "alt-right" ban, mind, you, just a temporary ban from select subreddits until we can "figure out what the hell is going on."

More like Bendon't, amirite?

One of my gripes with "Rebels" has been its seeming inability to handle non-mythos stories with any depth that makes them feel consequential outside the scope of their relation to the larger "Star Wars" universe. The last few eps and this one especially show they're not afraid to go deeper for a "kid's show," and
