I don't know if it's true but I heard some eastern cultures, eating very silently is rude. Think behind it is if you're enjoying your food, you'll be eagerly enjoying it slurping away not slowly and resistingly.
The "social implications" are actually variable dependent on culture. Western etiquette says slurping is bad - and yes, as a result many of us find the sound irritating. But at my friendly neighborhood ramen shop, I'm surrounded by customers happily slurping noodles from their bowls. It's okay as long as everyone else…
I actually agree with every single item on this list.
Kuler has always been a great help for me in finding color palettes when I'm forced to design something.
Takes a special kind of person to call someone retarded over their choice of computer.
I can't tell if you're serious or not. Can you add some emoticons or extra punctuation?
Clean your toothbrush with a hair brush (I must credit hawkingdo for this solution)
Thanks, Lifehacker, but now my toothbrush is dirty and is adding fuzzies to my teeth when I brush them. Help!
My viewers from my channel helped me build my new PC with donations and parts. I never built a full tower custom PC before, just second hand parts in the Frankenfuck computer. It took me 2 weeks to pick out parts because I was just overwhelmed and when I got everything i started to sweat and shake. I have never been…
I just built my new gaming rig yesterday based off the recommendations of some of my fellow Kotaku readers and general web browsing. So when I hit that power button and saw nothing happen, I mean come on, I spend 4 hours assembling the damn thing, it was quite a sorry sight, I nearly fell into depression.

Really needed to read this today. Appreciate it :]
That method is normally used for dry or so called mixed ramen. Never heard of that sprinkle method in Chinese or Japanese culture for soup ramen.
When you boil instant ramen, the oil from the noodles is easily visible in the water. If you want to reduce some of the oil you consume from the ramen, try dumping out the oily water and rinsing the noodles, before adding fresh water back in and boiling it again. You can save some time by simultaneously boiling a…
Shift+Delete on text will cut it, Shift+Delete on a file will delete it. But you're right, I should add that into the article so no one accidentally deletes a file. Thanks for pointing it out!
Not sure if this relates to the video (can't watch it at the moment) but nothing riles me up more than when I show people pictures on my phone that I took with my dslr and they say, "wow! your phone takes really nice pictures!" and then after an explanation that I used my dslr I get, "Oh...I should really get one too.…
A buddy of mine suggested the ultimate online storage archive. Free, unlimited and lifetime. Tar up all your photos, songs, and files. Encrypt it. Name your tarball SnowdenFiles and seed it as a torrent. Bam.
Anyone else have this happen to them before? How'd it go?
