Why are you so worried about Kotaku? They’re not a child Justin Roland groomed.

So you completely failed to understand the context of isolationism, and then immediately called me a member of the KKK in what I can only assume you thought was a rational way to end your argument that didn’t make you come off like an absolutely insane person.

He didn’t say that. If you’re going to accuse someone of being a right wing supremacist, you should probably take their statements in context.

You’re getting Elon Musk - a daddy’s boy corporate billionaire huckster who abuses staff and uses his platform to spread right wing ideology - vibes…from a guy who makes video games for a specific platform?

Because he was asked. Anyone expecting a developer hired to make a PS5 exclusive game to answer this question with anything resembling “PC version incoming, so don’t feel the need to buy a PS5" is living in a different universe.

This guy was hired to make a PS5 game.  He was not hired to make, nor comment on, decisions to port the game to other platforms.

Given how Yoshi-P turned around FFXIV, I think if anyone can turn out a good Final Fantast game, it’s him. Even still, I am really only just cautiously optimistic.

“One of the most exhausting aspects of the last Fallout game I played (New Vegas) was how I couldn’t trust anyone, because they were either traumatized out of their wits or secretly a cultist.”

As someone who was basicaly born with 8 bit nintendo controller in hand I’m really tired of nintendo’s bullshit.

Woah there, throwing that kind of info at someone that barely squeaked out a passing grade in high school biology is bound to scare the them.

On the one hand yes, Rowling and her estate are filthy rich and don’t need the money. On the other hand, the only thing rich people enjoy more than being assholes is hoarding more money. It’s not like she’s still living off the soup line; she’s gotta pay for her lavish lifestyle somehow. There’s still merit to

Yes, but if you are aware of exactly who the person you’re making richer is someone you find reprehensible, then sticking your head in the sand is certainly a choice, but not one people have to make.

Your choice to purchase, or not to purchase, this game has absolutely no impact on Rowling.”

It’s not really “looking for reasons” when Rowling has very publicly made those statements…but this is all spoken like someone who probably has never had to deal with comments like these directed and them. Must be nice.

People aren’t “looking for reasons” to be angry. People are rightfully angry over transphobia, and this game is based on the franchise created by one of the world’s most visible transphobes. And fuuuuuuuuuck you and your stance of “ignore it and it’ll go away”. That’s not how social change works. The trans community

and she celebrates every single time that happens.

He needs some milk

You might be surprised at just how prevalent the practice of using stolen info and hacked accounts actually is…it’s almost certainly the greater percentage compared to accidental purchases.

On one hand, you’re correct.  Children do tend to lean towards the profession of their parents.  However, the entertainment industry likes to eat children up and spit them out before they’re even adults.  What Dern and Williams are doing is protecting their kids from that until those kids are old enough to make those

one of its worst entries, the awful, stupidly named 2013 reboot, Tomb Raider.
