My big issue with public sector unions is they’re not a zero sum situation. A private company negotiating with a union has to make a profit to stay open, so they push back against the union. Itd be great if we could all make 40-50$ an hour but if the wages outpace the company’s ability to pay, the company goes under.

As long as it’s not a government employee union(where negotiate means give the union 110% of what they ask the first time) I’m all for unions. And game developers are indeed a group that desperately need better representation.

So in a state with winters below zero, and summers in the upper 90s, electric vehicles are less than ideal. Shocking news.

I’m the person who keeps asking my colleagues who are having great times in Sea Of Thieves if, hey, do you think that game might be fun to solo?”

Im actually shopping for an awd family vehicle that isnt a cuv/SUV and the subarus are on my list. This had my attention until the cvt...... then I threw up in my mouth a littl

Since it's not stated here I looked for an msrp and all I can find is that the 2018 models START at 65k. So I can see these running around 75k with options. I was curious about the price for comparison sake

Be careful with logic around the root. They dont like they here

As someone living in the remnants of the midwest tundra, I cringe when my coworkers start there car(0-10F air temp) and IMIDIATELY take off. Like the absolute moment the starter has disengaged they’re in gear and off. Even in warm temps I’ll let my car idle for 30sec before I put it in gear. Seems common sense that

So I heard about this yesterday on YouTube. The quartering(hes not the greatest I know) broke it yesterday afternoon.

School was cancelled because the busses wouldnt start. Fuel had gelled. Daytime highs were -5 to --10F without windchill.

You call it a slushbox, but is it actually an old school torque converter automatic, or a dual clutch system? I generally think 1990s style torque converter transmissions when I hear slushbox.

Unless it goes really bad. Didnt EA recently kill a star wars game already under development, in favor of another game that isnt even started yet? You think they wont give bioware the axe if anthem doenst perform well?

I deal with it by keeping ZERO expectations. If it turns out great, I’ll buy it. If it’s a dud, well I wont give a shit and whats left of bioware can finally just die since EA will shit them down if anthem isnt a billion dollar blockbuster success(I give it a 30% chance)

If someone looks to be in distress I stop. If the wheel has come off, and they’re in an obvious panic, I stop. If the vehicle is partly in the roadway(and it’s not a busy freeway or interstate) I’ll help push it off the road.

It does not spoil anything. I was impressed they managed to make a stand alone movie, after the series and you dont need to watch all the series to enjoy the movie. There is some light recapping here and there, but very minimal

unpopular opinion here. I kinda like it. Maybe not 300k like it, but I like it.

Im quite capable of thinking for myself. Are you capable of thinking anything besides ZOMFG ORANGE CHEETO EVIL? Hes most definitely a twat waffle though. But I was merely pointing out that the things your coworker rants about are in fact occurring. You can argue over the numbers, but you cannot tell me you believe

Yup. I remember when this all started and done people were defending the westworld devs. Then it was made known that they worked on fallout shelter, and some bugs that were present in BETA, but not final builds of FOS were in westworld. That was pretty much the end. What moron thought theyd get away with it.

I for one am glad this game died on the table. The fewer existing franchises EA infects with their crap microtransaction disease the better
