I’ve always had cold hands, so when I was a kid I imagined an X-Man named “Sink”. His thing would be that he could absorb heat and energy by physical contact, like a heat sink.

Yeah? I can think of a couple that are sufficiently different from anyone above C-list, and I’m not even a professional writer.

When travelling to comment at a different Kinja website, even for the umpteenth time, remember that you will be stuck in the grays.

It’s not a vacation if I have to drive. (Jalopnik is the most appropriate place to make this comment.)

Fortunately I have workshopped my rants down to 4.5 minutes.

Well, chopped VHS on 16" CRTs kind of sucked.

What happens at the end of Casino Royale is that it surprisingly goes on for another 25 minutes.

Solid riposte!

I didn’t even get to hear “puny god!” in the theater because the audience laughter was so loud at the beat-down immediately prior. It’s such a great line, I’m still annoyed.

One thing overlooked is that it is Black Widow who figures out the villain scheme (twice!) and closes the wormhole. This version of the character is straight out of Whedon, but without him she probably isn’t the one to do that.

When more than one of the shows actually has 30 minute episodes instead of 60 minute episodes?

If only Legion had been 2/3 the series length. It had great style but I gave up and never finished it.

Let’s not pretend that the original Highlander was some great achievement in cinema sullied by cash-ins that should only be whispered if named; it was Fine. I’d take at least half of the Adrian Paul series over it.

It was a documentary, which was filmed in real time.

I know I’m a broken record on this, but AV Club’s highlighting of this column (below another For Our Consideration) compared to that of Breihan’s action/superheroes/moneymakers (always page top) is a microcosm of the Hollywood dynamics for women and men as discussed.

I also prefer my trends to be more globally harmful than average.

Craig Zobel is the producer.
