Exactly. It’s Apple’s decision to make, same as with Epic. However I would say in this case (streaming apps) it’s a really stupid business decision. Presumably, none of the stream uses Apple servers. So even if they don’t make money from Xcloud and Stadia, they wouldn’t lose any either. But they are getting bad press

I specially love how the Apple fanboys will be deepthroating the boot saying "ITS THEIR PLATFORM", conveniently igonoring this will limit how they use devices they own.

This.

This is 100% nothing more than an attempt by Apple to cover their asses legally. It enables them to say to a judge, “Look! We gave them a path! They just refuse to take it so they won’t have to give us the 30% to which we are contractually entitled.”

Cool with me. I’ll stick to Android.

Why do they keep beating around the bush? We all know they just want their 30%.

Yikes.

The US military has hit the vast majority of recruitment numbers for 20 yrs. they have 0 need to trick anyone

I envy the children, who when asked, can legitimately say, “Hillary who?”

So yes action wise 2 is better, but its also a shorter shallower game.

“Gameplay wise”, yup but in term of writing / story it’s bad.

Like this article is the tip of the iceberg on why Witcher is actually a very very bad game

I loved the meditating to drink potions in the first two games. I like the idea that fighting a monster is something you have to prepare for. You can’t just be chugging potions mid-battle to top off your health bar if things get tough. Getting rid of that aspect is one of the only things I didn’t like about the third

There were two things that bothered me a lot about The Witcher 2, though I still love the game. The Signs felt pretty flaccid to use, and having to meditate to drink potions was just a terrible idea. Swordplay was much better than the first game, though, and I loved the variety of weapons/armor/skills

My headline would have been “The First Witcher’s Combat Is Fucking Garbagetown”, an opinion I formed when the game was fresh.

So you’re saying the boys view you as more fragile, less skilled, and unable to take care of yourself?

This is an issue for me, because I’ve always questioned to what degree “Walking Simulators” are really games. This has been a pet peeve of mine since Myst, and I’m not convinced that something like The Stanley Parable has more in common with, I dunno, Candy Crush than it does a Choose your Own Adventure book.

Me: I haven’t played COD in years, let’s check in and see how things are going.

This stuff is why I rarely play COD anymore. If you’re not constantly learning ways to exploit the game, or have insane reflexes,  you’re not going to succeed in COD.
