It doesn’t. The apartment system is bad because you can’t have any in other towns, and you have loading screens between other apartments. In no way does it feel open world to me.

I still don’t care what you say, The Sims 4 is just a way for EA to put it’s leftist greedy ideas on everyone. The Transgender update is one of the main reasons why I hate The Sims 4 because I don’t believe Trans people don’t exist, and it’s one of the ways EA is putting Leftist ideas on us.
