My god details like this makes game feels like it was ripped from the 90's. In some weird fate, someone saw Sonic failing in the future and intercepted this game from being released in 1998 or something.

They actually say what the egg/poop stuff you harvest (called “plots”) from them does for each variety. They each have different economic applications, with the most basic (red) being useful for a wide range of things, while say the glovwing ones are used for lighting applications.

Its really easy to get the resources though most of your slime will either eat meat, veggie and fruits. All three you get right away and only have to grow them and once planted they now grow infinitely.

Query: Is there a long term goal in Slime Rancher or is it just one of those ‘do the thing because you enjoy it’ type games? I’ve been somewhat interested in this, but I really prefer a game where I’m working toward a specific thing rather than making up the goals as I go.
