What are you talking about? Boot camp isnt at all like running a second PC side by side, it loads natively into windows. Not to mention MACs are SSD and resetting and changing operating systems takes a whole minute.

Direct X is the standard API for most major games as it supports the most modern shaders. Open GL could have absolutely been used and probably would have better success. However chosing the most used API that ensures the most accurate compiling is where im going with my post.
