Nope, it's not an between. It is not at all similar to DVD technology. it's a proprietary version of bluray, it even uses the same laser.

I don't seem to be having any of the issues everyone else has? I mean yeah i have become stuck on a rock here and there but nothing a quick character change couldn't fix. I average 74 FPS with everything on Ultra, the only thing i haven't tested is MP; No interest in MP.
