And then what’s to stop people trolling by only being offensive ingame?

Reported, sorry!
What a weird cliche to say. You’re aware Nintendo is making this game, not the US government?
Having mic chat raises the age group of the game.
“Don’t try to justify this”= ‘you said something that is correct but I don’t like it’
That’s okay though, I’m buying a copy for myself and my wife.
Yup.
You posted an image. You committed the first “thought out and mature argument” sarcasm crime.
People typing in something as lightning fast as HL2 well okay then!
You seem to be trying to nitpick. If you read other replies before steamrolling in with your own you’d see I mentioned the age rating thing. Journey got a universal rating, even though it has online multiplayer due to the lack of voice.
For one thing it’s “rain on your party”, and the term is parade. Reign on your party? lol!
aaaaand here we go again, because even if there was an option to enable it in-game the rating would push it up.
Nintendo is great, it’s people that are shits.
Exactly. It’s great.
I assume English isn’t your native language.
I know, when I used to play GTA Online without changing my mic settings to mute everyone, people would be okay in the setup and awful in game. That’s a terrible way of solving this problem.
HAhaa, fucking hell.
I dunno about that last part, I know for most online games I’ve played on Nintendo systems there’s no “players you met” way of adding people.
Totally agree. Less anonymity would be a wonderful thing.
The problem is that people are unmuted to begin with, and no way of knowing if they’re going to start being racist or sexist mid-match.
