This video seems appropriate if you have no idea how a good online experience works. It covers (PS2) Socom: Combined Assault online server structure. Little too dark and probably too long. Battlefield: Bad Company 1 and 2 do it ok though, but Socom - - well watch this full screen for about 15 minutes. You could

Socom 1 did servers, and lobbies and also at the end of each round in Socom 1 it had a grid of every players stats, with kill counts, hit percent and if so number of hits taken. Plus the final screen after an entire match put the name of the MVP up on top along with the winning and losing team ratios.

They actually didn't look all crazy like that in the videos, many are just over the top grabs, but like with IVY it seems to stay flowing and not like SSFIV which totally stops the show and fills the background with color. This Soul Calibur is looking good. I actually need to buy this as I have so many I got used :(

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is a noob game. Very little skill needed run around the big open maps and shoot, and since all the guns are basically all the same with the addition of the scope - it is a noob game. You can easily snipe people with the big machine guns as long as you have the scope, and pop, pop, pop it.

Books are adults version of school reports, except nobody asked the author to do it. Since we have been given no information as to the books content, memoir, fiction, non-fiction, science, historical, childrens picture book, whatever "this book" may be, it certainly would be appropriate if it was only going to get

Make a list and check it twice. I got lots of fighting games I play on my PS2. Worth that alone if you are a fight game fan. All the Socom games are still online also, but it would help if you are a glitching cheater to enjoy them these days.

When Tekken 6 loads it says "checking for downloadable content," but PSN has no Tekken 6 DLC? I would pay like $20 for a custom character editor. Pick moves from all characters to make 1 awesome custom character. Wonder what would go into that. Probably break the games character graphics (polish)

Christie has 169 moves listed when you go into the Practice Mode and select the option list to display moves, at the top it says 169, with 10 of them being 10 hit combo demonstrations. Heihachi has a lot and most characters are around 125 or 150 or so. 200 sounded better than 169 though, so you cought me there.

I just realized that since my PS3 refused to play DVDs months ago (interestingly - when I got my netflix) why does it still play games? Not sure about blue-rays as I don't have any now. But jst thought, how strange it plays games but not dvds, both go in the same hole.

I imagine Tekken X Street Fighter will be a simplified version of Tekken. As Street Fighter is rather simple with move counts and Tekken is rather insane topping out at around 200 moves for a single character. I can see how a bunch of players who have never touched Tekken before that play Tekken X Street Fighter say

Nice combat. Is it 1 punch button or something more to it like fight game controls. Or is it only x and o button and you punch once the x, then x again then again x to get a combo, or x, x, o combo, xox, combo, oox, or oxo, oxx. Or just x? Xx - xx- x - xxx- x?

Robotech Battlecry on PS2 had it so you change from jet, to bent over half mech, to another type of mech with a gun. Controls for moving the mech on the ground sucked though. Made it pretty difficult to target, shoot, and move. I never finished it.

PS2 had BF:Modern Combat that is it. Had wide combat areas to cover on many maps as I remember it had helicopters to get around and jump out of, and tanks, etc... Had 1 hill map with lots of bumps and rocks and a big plane crash in the middle to climb around, very sniper heavy, no vehicles really. So it did both

I have seen a few documentaries and I can only offer as a suggestion that I really don't care about you much. Many of these start out with a person saying, "I am from a small town, and eat at this table, watch this sunrise, etc...on and on" So, not that that is bad but I always find the best kind of documentary

Game, Game Pro, Game Problems, Pro Problems, Problems, Pro Game. I am thinking maybe putting a few reviews together, but Game Pro wouldn't fit in really, so it would be a 5 point scale sort of I guess. Game meaning it is a neat download type of game, not much to say, it is a game and many full on titles could

Oh, Split Second was neat though. I liked the car design. Might play it again someday.

I swear I am not trying to co-op Kotaku with my YouTube channel. I realized this is like the 10th time I have pulled from own channel to comment though. Anyway, the reason SPLIT / SECOND didn't make me like it is cause it was aimed at the kids. Not mad about that, but it was to use the term losely "wide open"

The first 2 minutes of gameplay sort of explain my opinion with gameplay. Something is odd about it and I really would of liked to have been playing it.

Maybe he wouldn't be playing videos games if she was singing the blues?
