Turns out a great deal of our “checks and balances” are actually just “gentleman’s rules” greatly depended on the offending party actually agreeing to follow the rules.

Well, yeah. That’s what gets me about the mainstream Democrats being so worried that the GOP would have portrayed Bernie as a “far left socialist”. That’s what they were going to call ANYONE that got the nomination. From 8 till 11 on Fox News they spend pretty much the whole time talking about Biden being “socialist”.…
The “dying wish” wasn’t aimed at getting the GOP to honor it. It was an attempt to light a fire under the Dem’s ass to actually put up a fight. She was far too smart to expect anything out of Trump or McConnell.
The SNL skit after Kavanaugh was a perfect parody. The part where the GOP was in the locker room celebrating their win, then they had Chuck Shumer outside talking about losing then Manchin walks by and Shumer was like “no hard feelings” and the guy punches him in the nuts.
Yeah, they are hurting outside of gaming. You would figure Sony would dial this in, like the did for PS4. With all the delays in announcing preorders and price you would have figured they would have had time to make a plan. You don’t leave things up to chance with your mainline products.
Alot of people are like that. Sony screwed the pooch by not enforcing or even making a plan for retailers to follow. I don’t blame people for having multiple - at this point - to make sure everything is kosher with them. I know I check my preorder every so often to make sure the retailer didn’t screw something up.
I’m probably one who you would think would question it the most. I have a Pro and an X, and actually prefer the XBox (and lately have been getting games like Avengers on it). However, I wanted to upgrade one for the next gen this holiday and chose the PS5, and did get in a preorder. The original reason was because of…
You’re right, thanks for the reminder. And it was weapons. But it was a good example at home simply making something run at a higher framerate on better hardware isn’t always straightforward.
If Trump were smart he would not nominate anyone. What better way to light a fire under conservative’s asses and conservative leaning fence sitters to get them out to vote? If he seats someone and the Senate follows through, it will supercharge Democrat voters.
People are ridiculous. Like the Digital Foundry guy that apparently can’t like a game unless is is perfect 60fps all the time because it “feels bad”. He somehow simultaneously complains that the game isn’t slavishly accurate to the original, then dings it for not taking advantage of technology. He seriously argued…
His Presidential Library is going to be a strip club with no books.
I think his best legal defense would some sort of plea bargain. The evidence is pretty soundly against any of the stupid arguments the right wing offers. Zimmerman benefitted from a much different scenario in that no one was there when it happened or had video, he also could actually argue that since it was his…
The lawyer will take everything he collects. This isn’t his first rodeo, he does this “defend shitty right winger” stuff for a living.
Because they don’t want to “rush to judgement”. It’s amazing how quickly they rush to judgement when it suits them, but for murdered black people we all need to slow down and give it a good hard think.
Streamers want to be like TV stars, then they are going to have to start understanding that their platform has to be paid for and profitable to run. That means advertising. This is not a new problem to anyone other than them.
Yeah, you did. Was just adding my recollection of it to yours.
I think that was Nazi island, not cheaters though.
You would be surprised. You and I of course, being consumers of Kotaku/other gaming press know whats up. But most kids aren’t going to be in the position where they can be quite so picky, or knowledgeable. And right now the economy and unemployment being like it is, that difference in price will be significant.
Yeah, that was a thing back then, the base XBox 360 also was had no WiFi, smaller HD and had a wired controller instead for reference. Personally I prefer wired network for gaming, but for some that is not an option. WiFi is negligible cost and board space these days, back then for gaming level stuff it wasn’t.
You know that, I know that but parents will see the price and they don’t know that. Keep in mind they release in November to capture the holiday market, hence parents will drive early adoption. All the uninformed consumer will see is price difference. Feel free to explain teraflops to them.
