Diablo 3 has definitely outsold Diablo 2 but I’m not sure your “ten times” is based on anything other than you making up a number.

You also have to take into consideration that Diablo 3 is available on five times as many platforms.

I mean, there are a few victories among making fan games. We wouldn’t have undertale if toby fox didn’t mess around with earthbound, same with sonic mania and there are a few other instances.

Yeah, US copyright law is something else. The fact that this is also true for wedding photos is similarly nuts - the idea that a person might not legally have the rights to reproduce and distribute pictures (that they paid to have taken) from their own wedding is insane to me.

Because that’s how the Nazis got into power started amassing power: by going after communists and socialists. They literally staged false flag operations to justify arresting socialists and thereby amass more power.

From my own experiences both in having Joy-cons drift, and also taking them apart and replacing the joysticks, it may be that there’s no real good way to redesign them without having to change the entire form-factor of the joy-con.

Their virtual ticket stuff might be wrapped up in contracts or third party vendors that relies on the other parts of the convention actually happening.  Like it used to be hosted as a DirectTV pay per view item -- not sure if that’s still the case -- and maybe without the actual con they can’t use those agreements.
