No.

Yes Dafne Keen, hell no MBB

Canadian schools stupid, still smarter than US electorate. More at 11

It's only this show though

Why is the show (lit) so dark?

Mike Pence does

This book terrified me, almost as much as people who decry Sharia Law, but would be just fine if we used a different old book to subjugate.

It's like saying "don't help the guy with the broken leg because someone else has cancer"

I DID

That last "twist" though…

At the least comments on Vera's casting are half-decent

It definitely was beautiful. I think overall, I expected somewhat more of a fidelity to the source in the ending. I assumed killing Sam over Marion was another deviation, not an exit ramp.

while overcome by emotion finding his wife's corpse? I buy it.

I need to chew on Season 5 for a bit. I think it's hard to let go of what you expect/anticipate (with 50 years of a classic hanging over you) and what unfolds.

I don't think there's a right or wrong answer, but does anyone think Season 4 was a better endpoint for the show, leaving everything "Psycho" in the future?

I'd watch that scene again. Gunshot came through loud and clear for me.

I think we can all agree…

I saw the triple feature in Hollywood last week. II is a great character study, III is meh on every level. I agree with you on the ending. It should have ended with the basement.

They found several bodies in the lake where she was dumped, but she was not among them.

You notice I put hero in quotes, right? Hero as in focus of the story, etc. A not-insignificant part of the episode was centered on him, and I personally never connected with him that deeply (through no fault of Max). I would have been more moved if Norman had slashed his own throat.
