Sooooo, it’s Skyrim?
Sooooo, it’s Skyrim?
The author heavily implied that the act alone (not the context that it was a Kardashian) was problematic; the fact that it was also just a bad costume just made it worse.
I guess you could dumb it down to that, but I feel like it misses a great deal of context.
Welcome to 2016 where literally everything you do is connected to race. I’m so fucking sick of this shit. Gawker media is one of the worst offenders
Except Firefighters and Astronauts are professions that exist in the real world. There is no ‘real’ Storm to objectively compare her costume to.
This seems like a slippery slope. Aren’t you essentially stating that a person may only wear costumes / dress up within the confines of a character that matches their own race/ethnicity?
I feel like my immediate question will open up a can of worms but here goes nothing.
Costume looks cool. Maybe it’s time to remember that Halloween is about having fun for the night, not getting pedantic about the proper interpretation of a comic book character.
No they did not. Yes they used private emails but they did not have a private server in their private homes.
Comey has never been accused of being partisan. His reputation in DC is stellar. He is actually a FAIR guy.
No one knows youre a woman or you have tits in this game.
Wow, not I am not even sure your being serious. However just in case you are I will respond to you.
Seriously? Where’d all of the gamer-hating commenters suddenly come from on Kotaku, dang.
I do hope you go on Jalopnik and call them gearheads using their phallic wrenches to violate feminine gas tanks and on Deadspin where they toss all of their balls around and run into each other in homoerotic ways, because we…
And you are on a dedicated gaming site why? Did Jezebel link you here?
There were no “digital tits” though. Have you seen a video of gameplay from the game? It’s floating helmets and hands. No player character has a physical personage at all, let alone body parts to be “virtually violated”.
...Virtual groping?
I had to double-check if this was a Jezebel article. -_-
It’s interesting to see how people react to others griefing in a VR setting as opposed to an average video game, but people rolling out the sexual harassment and rape wagons at the drop of a floating virtual helmet is preposterous.
I’m all for preventing griefing…
People — male & female — obsess about the Middle Ages all the damn time. (And while its *not* technically, the Middle Ages, the fetishization of Game of Thrones is also somewhat baffling.) The Middle Ages SUCKED. There is nothing to celebrate about the Middle Ages, an era filled to the brim with ignorance, disease,…
I’m pretty sure the laws and the mores of the time wouldn’t be transported intact to a present day amusement park.
