When you earn “badges” you level up how much garbage you send over to opponents. It maxes out at 100% so you can, at most, send double the garbage than you can at the beginning of the game.

I always thought the names were Single, Double, Triple, and Tetris, in that order.  But I played Tengen’s Tetris as a kid.
