The first one I ever saw was somewhere in America* last year when I ordered bison chili and I got so confused when the waitress brought me a giant crusty bread roll and nothing else. I waited for a while (I’m a Brit, I’m polite) but when she didn’t reappear I looked forlornly at my bread roll and noticed the top crust

Be best and that is the best. We’re redoing our apartment. We have tons of blank wall space and framed photos all over the place on various flat surfaces. We think we’re going to put all these photos in a huge group on one wall to free up some of that space. If I can remember I’m going to print this Honest Abe quote

I’m extremely disappointed at the size of the holes in that bread. I want more mac and more soup, and far less bread. I need more negative spaces

Philly Guide Book: “Reading Terminal has options for the whole family to enjoy, for any meal and time of day. DiNic’s, Bassett’s, Termini Bros, Beiler’s, Sang Kee, etc., are among the best food options the city has to offer.”

The IKEA apple.

“The double bread bowl and a large iced tea came to $16.60.”

Before going into detail here, I should note that I’ve never previously had, or been interested in, a bread bowl;

The apple is for display in your mouth after you finish the meal and are spit-roasted as the next meal.

That video left me uncomfortable

I have no desire to eat the double bread bowl, so I’m glad i could live vicariously through you. Also, your take on red delicious apples is spot on. I eat an apple pretty much every day, and like almost all varieties, aside from red delicious. Its simply semi-sweet pulp pressed into the shape of an apple.

The Red Delicious apple—which went uneaten, as Red Delicious apples are not food—will give you an idea of scale here...

This ended about the way you’d think it would.

might be the finest thing you’ve ever written.

that bread is for dipping into soup, not for pouring soup into

This is beautiful, Monique. And I don’t even have a little FUPA.

I feel the same way. I adored “1991” and “Anna Wintour” for its throwback house sound and her versatility in her voice, especially on “Anna Wintour.” I just find it hard to support her as a personality because of her bigoted statements and starting beef with people. She went after a 14-year old Disney Channel actress,

"OK Moon Unit, granola for everyone" is almost as weird and perfect and completely hilarious as slotting Mueslix in the top ten.
