@Promethean: You're exactly right, and this is all the more reason why he should not be allowed to practice law.

One can only hope this eventually leads to JT wandering the streets of DC outside the Supreme Court, with long white beard and wild-eyed stare, reeking of urine and garbage, shouting to no one "This is a travesty of justice your so-called 'honor'! On behalf of God and the American people, I will not let this stand!"

@EldonTLH: Hm, Sarah Palin, LSD Mom...that has a nice ring to it.

@Grumpz®: Are you kidding? You think publishers just hang around 'interfering' with developers? (Well actually, they do that quite a bit, but anyway...) Who's gonna pay for them to finish it on their own? That's not how the game industry works, unfortunately. They'll need a publisher eventually. The news here is that

@vincevl: Agreed. I think the 'new EA' might do so, believe it or not.

Next up: Medal of Honor: Dishonorable Discharge

Robert who?

These Xiis just make me smile...not because they're adorable (they're not), but in remembrance of the first Xbox era, in which MS spent millions trying to convince the gaming world that they were "TeH hARdkoRz"

@Spiderbait: Are you suggesting the girl was referring to the Disney dog? She wasn't, other way around...he was named after the planet, which had just been discovered. It wasn't a competition either:

@TheCakeIsALie: Um, I think it's safe to say that everyone who suggested Black Mesa as the name thought of Half-Life...try to pay attention!

So I says, "Super Collider? I just met her!" And then they built the Super Collider. Thank you, you've been a great audience.

@glibby: I think T2 has made it pretty clear they're not all gung ho to get bought just yet. EA's friendly/hostile attempt didn't go through even after T2's GTA sales started slowing down and their stock dropped.

@CCCombobreaker: Activision didn't get bought by Vivendi. It was a merger, with Vivendi as largest shareholder. Activision was the number one publisher in 2007 before the merger even took effect, mostly thanks to Guitar Hero and COD4. That's why Bobby Kotick is still CEO of 'Actard'.

Pretty sure Rockstar would still own the GTA rights if those guys jump ship. It'd be more like what the next DOA and Ninja Gaiden games are gonna be like without Itagaki. Actually, considering the egos involved, a lot like that.

That girl in the video has a distinct look on her face that says "This is waaay too Japanese for me...and I'm friggin Japanese..."

This is Konami we're talking about here. They're probably hoping make this work based the Japanese market mostly, with a bit of extra sales in the West. I'm sure it will compete favorably with GH and RB in Japan, especially this Wii version, no matter how lame it turns out.

Spore sorta puts you in the role of Intelligent Designer (or potentially not so intelligent as Will Wright points out). However, your lifeform is originally 'created' from a comet smashing into your home planet, so that goes against strict Creationism.

This is about as surprising as hearing that my waffle iron won't run Spore. Intel GMA 950 graphics? Lol...anyone trying to use that hardware to play any contemporary game should suck it up and stick to web surfing and Itunes.
