This isn't bashing per se, for me the story of this game is just kinda sad and embarrassing. Every time I hear about its actual release, it sounds to me something like "Courtney Love's new album is finally on it's way!"

I heard Bungie is gonna have a BungCon event this year, inspired by BlizCon. They will gather 50,000 Halo fans together to announce that they have no new announcements.

Boosh! Frisky Dingo FTW

@Grecaun: €1.02 billion is about $1.6 billion. €1 billion is about $1.57 billion. The numbers are a bit mixed up here...

Geometry Wars was much more fun than the ill fated Trigonometry Wars. Man, trying to solve for cos(x) while getting blasted by tangents was the definition of frustration.

"Will's talking about archetypes in popular culture, citing Gilligan's Island, whose seven inhabitants represent the seven deadly sins."

@kingmanic: Oh, like Blizzard's customers aren't 99% nerd ragers! ;D

@cookiesareafriend: "Most of the team that worked on World of Warcraft left Blizzard before the merger anyway" Um, who of the hundreds who worked on WoW are you talking about? Care to link any news story about this mass exodus? All the top WoW designers and producers are still at Blizzard, why would they leave?

@Ganepark32: @Fallible: Even if 616 was used earlier than 666, the fact remains that 666 is way cooler. As in, throw the horns in the air, and wave em like the devil may care. 616 sounds like an area code in Michigan, which it is.

@7ucky: @trogam: World of Goo is awesome. I played the demo and preordered it. I highly recommend checking it out...

Looks kinda cool actually. Reminds me a bit of World of Goo, which is a really good thing.

Hmm, I interpreted this interview thusly:

Maybe Molyneux won't go around overhyping his Dyack next time! Especially since overhyping your Dyack is a sure way to go blind eventually.

I don't get why an HD version of this 14 year old game would suddenly fail epilepsy tests. If there are too many flashing lights, wouldn't it be relatively easy over the last year to take them out? Hardly seems like a "really, really tricky technical problem".

The issue here is not so much secrecy as it is exclusivity. Nintendo always does this with their hardware, delaying development kits for third parties and so on. The main reason is, this way they can insure their first party titles have no real initial competition in using the shiny new features to their full

GOOAAALL!

Inc Flood rush! Zeeeerrrrrgg!

I knew the Sony presser was in serious trouble the moment they started going on about the PS2.

I might like to PLay this, even though weird caps in game titles annoy me. Kind of like pretentious backronyms (I'm looking at you, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.)
