I think seat belts should be mandatory for under 18yo but optional for everyone else. If an adult wants to drastically raise their chance of dying I don’t see any reason to stop them, especially when it does not raise the chances of other people dying.

I stopped buying anything with hidden charges. And that would include new cars from dealerships if I needed a car. By willingly paying them you are saying that they should keep charging the hidden fees. I try not to be a hypocrite, so I just dont buy if there is a hidden fee.
