Lots of ebikes use hub motors. They are not very good offroad or on extremely rough roads. But on paved surfaces they are excellent and do not really affect handling much.

A year ago Sonders was making overpriced low end ebikes that were outdated in looks and specs, and couldn’t compare to others at the same price. They just designed a complete new fleet of ebikes and this motorcycle from the ground up. Its an impressive jump for them.

Normally Snopes is really good about checking on things. I dont know if he actually tasered his nuts and died from it, but a simple 5 second google image search shows that its very possible he did and that snopes source is a liar.

Sometimes letting a brand do their own thing is a good way to make money. A company as big as Unilever knows that their main advantage is in production and distribution, and micromanaging their brands is not necessary.
