There'll probably be some sort of holiday bundle to consider, but it probably won't beat a $200 refurb direct from Nintendo.

The 3G isn't worth paying an extra penny for; you can't really use for much beyond web browsing (and most people who would be bringing a Vita out and about already have smart phones), and this newer bundle has an 8GB card instead of 4GB. Phat vs. Slim and Borderlands vs. Walking Dead come down to preference, though.

If you really want to feel bummed out, compare last year's 3DS numbers to this year's.

If the Japanese PS4 really is dominating Chinese market sales, then the Chinese market isn't accounting for much at all.

Heh, I remember things like this happening with LEGO Racers. Occasionally the warp power-up would deposit you outside the track on Magma Moon Run. You'd end up back on the track... almost an entire lap ahead of where you should have landed.
