Huh? That chart explicitly says the difference is noticeable. Am I particularly feeling the need to upgrade my monitor? No, 1080p looks good. Will I notice the difference when I eventually do? Yes, in certain areas. I'm not saying 4k isn't excessive and a waste of money, but 1080p isn't the end-all, be-all of

According to this graph, there is a slight but visible difference between 1080p and 1440p at the size/distance combination I mentioned.

Pom Poko's Ghibli, but not Miyazaki.

...Nope, actually it is. Just over arm's length away from a 21" 1080p monitor RIGHT NOW and I can see a hint of pixellation around the Kinja menu button and really see it on the italicized text of the headlines. I do not have superhuman eyes.

EDIT: D'OH!

Also look at the DS list. In particular, I recommend 999. If you like it, its sequel, Virtue's Last Reward, is available on 3DS and Vita.

Honestly, I'm not getting my hopes up for the show. It's looking like re-used gags, poorly executed.

Let's try that again...
Aside from the battery-free stylus, there's not much to make this tier of Wacom's tablets preferable to the competition. In particular, Huion's H610 Pro offers vastly superior specs at a lower price, and this Monoprice (*coughalsoHuioncough*) tablet, while half an inch smaller in length and
