I think the editors have realized that their arbitrary 12-game limit is too small. If you look at the updates for the PS3 list, some of the current games were previously mentioned as being considered, but not making the cut.

The ridge is to hold the cart in place in the system. Apparently there was a latch in earlier models and people were inserting and removing the carts wrong, so Nintendo removed that ridge so people could freely insert their cartridges incorrectly without damaging their systems. Or something like that.

Nope; there's a PSP version if you want to import it/use a fan translation, but that's it.

It's coincidence more than anything else. Danganronpa originally came out less than two weeks after 999, and it's from the Spike half of Spike Chunsoft, while Zero Escape is Chunsoft's work. Apparently there's been relatively little interaction between the two despite their merger.
