This is the silver lining in this awful story for me. I am completely amazed that Georgia pursued this case, used these laws to convict, and actually gave hefty sentences to these assholes.

At the beginning of Hidden Figures I thought, I hope they don’t shoehorn a love story into this movie. Then he showed up and I decided I was fine with it.

My God, this spoke to me. My father was extremely neglectful after my mother died and I grew up so pained by it all. Now I’m in my 30s, still putting off motherhood and just focusing on nurturing that little girl. I’ve never been able to put my feelings into words but this is it. Thanks.

I think it was just called Avonlea, and Road to Avonlea was season 1 of the same show. It’s so awesome! I got a season on DVD every holiday until I had all seven. It’s one of my prized possessions!
