I mean, look at the name. On one hand you can look at “fandom” as just being a pretty standard collective name for fans. But I’ve always noticed the “dom” part because it seems like so often these are the people who want to dominate everyone else.

I definitely have to agree with your fandom take. The term is being a little more widely adopted, but as a general rule of thumb, I think it’s safe to say that people who consider themselves fans of something are usually harmless, while people who consider themselves part of a fandom are usually toxic.

I LOVED THIS SHOW!

2 and a half years later than I expected. I mean, I’m impressed.

What... the... shit?

I still “hello nurse” at people. I frequently burst into the theme song. I have been known to tell people “Okay lady, I love you, bye bye” when they are vexing me slightly. And Cats help me but when someone says “What is the matter with you” I am off and Chicken Booing.

I have simpler tastes. Here’s an Animaniacs dick joke.

Ooh! Ooh! I can play too!

For those who somehow haven’t seen the ultimate in innuendo ever gotten away with on a family show (and don’t want to browse through another website to see it), I present the “Fingerprints” gag:

How the fuck did this article get posted with not a single picture of the subject matter in it?

Riverdale is full on Twin Peaks and noir featuring Archie. It shouldn’t work, and yet it does. If the Sabrina show channels the Hammer Horror elements of the comic (it’s really freaking creepy) it could work in that sort of weird “how is this so good?” kind of way.

I’ll miss his sass most of all. It’s just not the same without Nick Bakay, but it has to.

Fiction is designed to help us understand the real world. It always has been. To say it should be separate is to miss the point completely

Not many movies can lay claim to being among the best in their respective genre but to be able to help reconnect people to their heritage, that is something special.

Make is a Disney/Pixar style animated family movie. The merchandising alone will print money - Whitemane stuffed animals, clothing, dolls, etc - all appealing to both boys and girls.

Goddamn it, for the sake of being PC, do we have to introduce blue-haired characters in every damned show now? Can’t blue-haired people just watch their own shows? And we all know where this started:

Only if he had to and had already killed several thousand people anyway.

Superman would have the ability to grab opponents and smash them through solid buildings, which sounds like just about the coolest thing a Superman video game could do.
