Seriously, this. I was starting to wonder if I was the weird one for not thinking for one second about how a theme park tied into movie continuinty.

Sensing death is a terrible ability to give a character. Unless this is exceptionally well plotted, they’ll spend all their time jumping through hoops to explain why no one actually dies.

I thought it was hilarious when some TF fans got all excited about Hot Rod being in this one and started coming up with theories as to how he’d fit in with the movie storyline and end up becoming Rodimus Prime, as if he was ever going to be anything other than a fancy car with an accent.

I was really surprised to see the watchers, I thought they were part of the Fox/Fantastic Four deal.

I’m glad they didn’t go with an ending that would allow any of these guys to return, because holy crap did I not care about any of those characters. I didn’t know it was possible for me to not feel anything when a wise-cracking droid is killed, but here we are.

That’s a really good point. I would defintely be one of those fans who have an ideal version of what Batman should and shouldn’t do, but I really don’t give a crap what Green Arrow does.

There was a phase/trend a few years ago (maybe the early 2000's?) where it felt like every other non-superhero comic was just a pitch for a movie. There were almost always crime stories and they felt like a series of storyboards. This was not a good time.
