Nope, I saw it in 2D and found the CG distracting and very noticable. I actually thought that it was maybe the people who saw it in 3D who didn’t notice.
It’s a weird one for me, because, for example, muppet Yoda obviously isn’t real, but it doesn’t bother me in the slighest, whereas the dead-eyed, rubbery Tarkin bothered me to the point where I missed most of what he was saying. I think it’s because they tried to look like real people, or maybe because they lack that…

I’ve seen that design on another post on here about The Mummy and I still didn’t twig that she was the titular character until I read this article. The movie has a lot of work to do if that want to equate that character with that name in the public’s consiousness.
