I hate General Zod so much, you guys. Hate him. He always seems like a good idea -‘Evil Superman who’s also a military guy’ - except he’s never, ever done anything remotely interesting or had any lasting impact.

The New 52 design aesthetic was to add more lines and armour, no matter what. Deadshot already lines and armour, hence... this.

That’s one of the central problems with this storyline. No one mentions the fact that they could take actions other than ‘ignore the situation’ or ‘rush headlong into it’. Instead, they prefer to stand around talking about ‘profiling’ because this storyline is so relevant right now, you guys.
