I don’t want them to do something. A large majority of their bills are used to take away freedoms. I’d pay them MORE if they promised to just sit on the floor all day and not pass any more laws.

They’re not there to pass legislation. They’re there to get re-elected. To rile up their base and make sure that they go vote (D) all the way down the ballot in November. That’s all that anything in the Capitol is about.
