I can’t get over the Will Forte vibes I get from her husband.

Unrelated, but many attendees of the Wakanda Forever premiere said the mid-credits scene is a game changer.
Seconded. I rewatched the Thor ones a month or so ago, and they were so fantastically amusing.
As long as he doesn’t look like he’s staring off blankly into space while delivering exposition and actually gets to shoot scenes with other actors, it’s a golden choice!
Wait, you mean AVC was lazy in reporting the right thing?!
You are correct. Scott wanders a desolate San Francisco to his old house, where he reunites with a five-years-older Cassie.
They already killed OG Gamora and OG Groot, and blipped nearly everyone else. I think Guardians 3 will have a happy little sendoff to that band of losers.
I’m sincerely hoping there is still some goofiness to be had. This looks great, but it’s a major tonal shift from the rest of the franchise, like the opposite of Ragnarok vis a vis Thor.
If Laura Dern is a national treasure, Mike Birbiglia is, at the very least, the Crown Jewels.
I think “mature” just means we’ll shot, written, directed, and acted in this case.
Glad to see “Epiphany” get some love. Any time I listen to folklore, I wind up hitting “Epiphany” and then put it on repeat. It’s great with headphones as you let the entire thing just wash over you.
I am not deep in Tolkien lore. I’ve never read any of his works. I love the Lord of the Rings films on their own merits.
Yeah, it might have been blink-and-you-miss it. I remember him saying, “Sir!” as the commandant fell, but I might have missed him getting shot.
Too many directors have forgotten some of the lessons from the greats. Not to lean too much on Spielberg, but the shark barely shows up in Jaws, and Jurassic Park used VFX sparingly, keeping everything else real, which is why it looks so much better than Jurassic World.
Yeah, I don’t think he failed to cover him, but he showed some “Ah geez” reluctance before following through.
Dooooooo it. I am not one for hyperbole, but this show is basically saving Star Wars.
OK, it’s official. Mando, you are vanquished. Andor is exceptional.
Oof, I just made a similar comment. Apologies to everyone for doubling up!
It was a bit on the nose at the end when the card said “The Southlands” and changed it to “Mordor.”
“The Man with the Golden Gun” is terrible.
