I was a bit surprised when you read my comment on SOMA (just said I was early into the game, figured out what had happened and that it was depressing) made a while after you posted the article.

Horus?
Moo.
Uh-oh! Hipster police.
I tried going back last year. Had everything downloaded, everything updated. Attempted to log in, and, my character’s name had been taken in a server merge. So, they were forcing me to rename the character. Maybe it’s petty, but that just completely killed it for me. I had the name on launch and loved it. So I quietly…
It is.
I wondered how they’d treat combat in Victorian England. Not many folk parading around with swords in those days.
I actively tried NOT doing the awful things that game forced me to do. Then the game chastised me (the player) for doing them.
Nope, not worth the harassment I’ll no doubt receive.
Him not returning for the anniversary episode really really bummed me out. He’s my favorite.
Which is why it’s so important to state otherwise. It is allowed, because it should be allowed. Instead you’ve accepted the direct opposite line of thinking and you’re actively protecting it while clearly disdaining it at the same time.
Those jokes aren’t out of bounds.
Loved it, and love it still. It probably helps that I was very young when both Prince of Thieves and Waterworld released. I’ve always had a real soft spot for Costner.
Uh.....huh.
Edit: Oooh, now I get things. Sucks being generally comic illiterate.
Not a fan of confusing corridors in games, I’ve always been bad at navigation. So FEAR was a mild disappointment to me. I know a lot of gamers love that type of environment though, more power to them.
Fuck, this feels so unfair.
Random Battlegrounds on Warcraft have this exact same problem. You can play the smartest (a.k.a: playing the objectives) and still lose due to teammates. And let me tell you, there is some nasty, nasty stuff said in a losing battleground.
Good compromise.
It’s more tame than an after school special. I’m not joking.
