although i really do hate misleading headlines... this time, had a tiny hope/anticipation the whole list would be like this.

yeah, really disappointed with the backlash to that scene... it’s her experience, which she’s allowed to talk about, and it’s an indictment of all the things that lead to stuff like eating disorders and fatphobia.

same; i suppose it may vary for other people, but if i’m only mildly uncomfortable, i’d rather limit the days of work that will pile up when i do call out sick.

Now playing

still love this, too, though admittedly it’s probably much riskier for non-pale people to try this :(

his sort-of speech to Allison outside the skating rink will stick with me; heartbreaking.

reminding me of the robotty sushi restaurant in the X-Files reboot (yikes).

ugh, making me sad again that Naomi was cancelled; was really getting into that one.

the posters in Emil’s retreat were also hilarious! i need some of those. “Today is today.”

if she takes the relaxation thing into her life in future episodes, though, trying to learn to love “just Jen”, that would be interesting. i’m enjoying it and look forward to seeing whatever it is they do, but that would be an interesting turn either way.

if the screenshot is only shared to ridicule someone, then maybe that’s one thing, but i’ve also seen profiles shared specifically to warn people about someone dangerous or especially creepy. please, people, don’t stop doing that. keep it up.

if the adults were acting like misbehaving children, yeah, they’d be asked to leave. no one is obligated to love or put up with misbehaving kids aside from the parents and maybe those specifically in the childcare field (but even that has limits). try not raising kids to be annoying jerks instead of expecting everyone

agreed, that too :(

is funny that it looks awful on her, though.

having separate sections does seem better, and an easier “rule” to apply evenly. still stinks for parents with well-behaved kids that get stuck with the screamers, though :( .

Mike’s way means drowning in oil and vinegar.

sort of agree; not everyone has the focus to enjoy reading, and there are many different ways of learning and absorbing material if reading a text-based book isn’t for you.

yuck; it’s truly a terrible situation to be in. hope you bounced back nicely.

i wonder if the people saying this have been through waves of layoffs and firings themselves. i couldn’t read the tweet as anything but relief, which i’d hope any other colleagues or employees would understand (even if they weren’t so lucky).

if only Starbucks could follow suit; still feel for baristas having to deal with the stupid drink fads/excesses that come up.

oh man, the pork and cabbage buns <3
