there are always some seedy circles, no doubt, and it’s riskier for younger crowds but... this, absolutely. i’ve discovered so many new artists, learned so much about other cultures, and even had some new language exchange partners through social media.

also, some of the Buc-ee’s shirts are actually kind of cute, especially the holiday ones. but yeah, 100%, the main draw is the bathrooms.

but, as minor errors become considered insulting, aggressive, racist, etc. etc., it’s just a natural result that someone who messes up and doesn’t want to be any of those things is going to apologize or insult themselves more to make up for it.

season 2 was so good that i don’t know how it could be topped... but i’m looking forward to this regardless :)

the Obliger suggestions seem to encourage/take advantage of being a people pleaser instead of combating it. i suppose that’s in line with the goals of the quiz, but yikes re: well-being.

it’s disappointing that many of the takes i’ve seen so far just boil down to “women written with flaws or weaknesses or doing anything bad = misogyny!!111". the same thinking is often applied to POC or LGBTQ+ characters.

they stopped giving out tortilla samples because of COVID, and i died inside a little. could eat those tortillas every day <3

i wasn’t even in a small town, and i can say that the quality of education in Texas is already not something to cheer for; it sucks, plainly. but still, non-stop malice from these guys, and they don’t even have to hide it anymore. gross, sad, abhorrent.

he’s certainly going to pave the way for even more bots (on top of the already ridiculous amount), so automating this should be fair play. 

a shame; i really enjoy artist twitter and JP twitter, so i hope neither are deeply affected. seems risky with artist twitter, but maybe JP twitter will live on... ? it’s not just a platform for the US/Western world; hope it doesn’t get ruined for everyone just because of this fool.
