i enjoyed MediBang Paint, and Tayasui Sketches (especially Tayasui Sketches). i think both had some pretty great brush/stability/line correction options that made it much easier to switch to a tablet from paper.

seems like a great way to be supportive, too. the wannabe Mean Girls at Jezebel are, by all appearances, just disappointed that he’s with someone that isn’t a) them or b) someone they approve of.

it’s often true, so nah, i’m gonna say it, and other people are gonna say it. hopefully this is a wake up call to parents, and even non-parents; some parents are toxic already, and some people are just toxic parents-to-be and should skip the whole thing altogether. some people had toxic parents and don’t or won’t…

you can say both! parents can try their best and still be toxic. there’s not some magical guarantee that effort = positive results, in parenthood or anything else (otherwise we’d have a lot more billionaires, “legendary” artists, etc.).

it feels like The Book of Life has been totally forgotten, even more so since the release of Coco (and i really loved The Book of Life)... maybe that might be a different one to watch/re-watch? nothing is perfect, of course, but i wonder if that one might just serve something different enough.
