Yeah it wouldn't be fair…but I think there's a lot less fluff to Ds9, mostly due to less seasons, but also because of the heavy use of multi episode and even season long arcs that were less prevalent in TNG.

Well Spielberg and I agree then…The Crystal Skull is from a completely separate film franchise whose advent was, I can now say with hindsight, the first sign that we are living in a dark alternate future whose connection to the reality of my childhood is tenuous at best.
